About Laurie
Laurie began her career in design by studying at the New York Institute of Art and Design, years after completing her bachelor of arts in psychology at McGill University. Staging local homes quickly led to renovations and the designing of residential properties. She then refined her designed expertise by working with a local design firm for several years before forming Laurie Yapp Design.
Laurie believes in offering her clients exceptional customer service and project management for each one of her design challenges. Laurie and her team work with architects, contractors and suppliers who all share her timeless luxury style paired with modern aesthetics.
Laurie Yapp Design has a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from single room makeovers to full scale renovations. She is driven by new challenges to show off her ever-evolving style and thrives on realizing the potential and beauty of any given space.
Laurie currently lives in Montreal with her husband, four children, and two dogs.
